MESSAGE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
We are now in our 18th year. Since our first trail, created for MIGRATION in 1995, our TERRITOIRE D’ART-NATURE site has grown to three and a half kilometres of trails open to the public.
I love being an artist working in nature where, in winter, on snowshoes, I mark out new trails for the coming symposiums, as if I’m engraving lines in a monumental print. These trails will be filled with artworks, poetry and sound created by our guests during the 2013 symposium, which is devoted to the next generation - an important stage as we head toward sustainability in art, environment and science. The Jardins du Précambrien are PLACES/SPACES of culture and LEGACY for the community and the public at large.
For without the onlooker’s eye, art does not exist.
